SOLUBLE & INSOLUBLE FIBRES
SOCODE’s range of product has different types of soluble and insoluble fibres.
Soluble fibre: inulin (see the “Inulin” section).
Soluble and insoluble fibres compound materials:
- Chicory pulp, rich in inulin (±4%) and pectin (±27%), but also containing hemicellulose and cellulose;
- Pea pulp: contains pectin (±20%), hemicellulose (±22%), cellulose (±8%), and starch.
- Insoluble fibre: the pea shell contains 85% insoluble fibre.
